Webserver License - ASP model (application service provider) This allows a customer to put our font software on a production server that is intended to allow external users to use the fonts and download a portable embedded document (PDF). We determine pricing based on 1) number of fonts, 2) number of server CPU processors, 3) length of contract (so this is not a paid-up license, but an annual contract that must be renewed each year). 5. Webserver License - Proofing model This model allows commercial printers who have a similar webserver model that allows their customers to design template documents (like a greeting card, or business card) and the server only shows the end-user a sample image (gif image for example) to simply “proof” the document. The document is then printed by the commercial printer for their customer. We also license this type of model on an annual contract basis (based on number of fonts, server cpus, and duration of the agreement). 6. OEM License Individual license for OEM products with license contract. (NDA required.) This license is required for products that combine Font Software with OEM created or sourced hardware or software to a fully integrated product. |
